长期从事旱作农业/农田生态的科研工作,先后主持国家自然科学基金、山西省基础研究(自由探索)计划青年基金、山西省科技重大专项计划揭榜挂帅项目子课题、山西农业大学博士科研启动项目、山西省博士毕业生、博士后研究人员来晋工作奖励科研项目等项目4项,参加国家重点研发计划项目子课题、山西省科技重大专项计划揭榜挂帅课题等项目2项。在国际和国家级学术刊物发表论文14篇,其中13篇被SCI收录,1篇被EI收录。
