Delivery & Pickup

Delivery and pickup service is a tailgate service only. That means that we will get as close to the event location in the truck as possible and unload the truck at that point. The renter is responsible for getting the equipment to the point at which it will be used. Pickup of equipment must be in the same location as delivered. Items delivered will be stacked by Aardvark's at the point of delivery and must be stacked by the renter in the same manner when picked up.

Setup & Teardown

Delivery and pickup is not setup and teardown. When you rent equipment from any rental firm, there is no provision in the rental pricing of the equipment for setup and teardown unless it is specifically stated as included (i.e. tents and inflatables). Those are labor considerations and appropriate charges must be added on. Setup and teardown is available on all our equipment, ask for a quote.

Please note that any setup and teardown charge quoted assumes easy access to the event location. Additional charges will apply in cases of uneven terrain, manmade or natural obstacles, stairs, doors that can not be propped opened, delivery to floors above or below ground level or any other impediment to easy delivery, setup, teardown and pickup.

We will not setup or teardown equipment in a private residence if we are required to go up or down stairs.

Delivery & Pickup Outside of Regular Business Hours

Deliveries and pickups are made during regular business hours. Our regular hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and 8 am to 12 noon on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday's and major holiday's.

Any delivery or pickup request outside of our normal business hours will have a significant surcharge applied. This surcharge is in addition to the normal delivery charge that we assess and is used to cover the additional cost of finding and paying labor for after hours work.

Customer Pickup

Customer pickup is allowed however it is the customers responsibility to bring a vehicle that can easily and safely accept the rental items. The customer is responsible for bringing any straps, ropes or other devices used to secure the load. Aardvark's will normally help you load your rental items as long as the items can be loaded easily and safely.

If Aardvark's personnel determines that you are attempting to transport equipment in an unsafe manner*, we will not help load the equipment. Additionally the "Damage Waiver" if purchased will be suspended and you will become responsible for any damage done to the rental equipment.

*Unsafe manner means equipment that is not secured; overloading the transport vehicle; equipment that protrudes outside of the transport vehicle or any other condition deemed unsafe by Aardvark's personnel.
